Water flood monitoring: THE TEMPORARY DIKE IS COMPLETED

Deux-Montagnes, April 21st, 2019 – As of April 21st, we inform you that the temporary dike installation has been completed. It will prevent water from entering massively, unlike in 2017. Considering that it is not a permanent dike, some leaks must be sealed. However, everything is under control: the dike should hold up.

According to the web site Vigilance: surveillance de la crue des eaux, of the Ministry of Public Safety, the level of the Lake of Deux-Montagnes is 24,19 meters, so in average flood threshold.

The information received from the Carillon dam suggest a peak of 8,200 m3 / second.

More information will follow.
