Update at 2 pm: Flood waters level at Deux-Montagnes

[Flood waters] Update: the level of Lake of Deux-Montagnes is today at 2 pm to 24.49 meters, according to the site of the Public Security of Quebec. The water level is still rising and clearly exceeds the major flood threshold.

The City of Deux-Montagnes wants to reassure its citizens: the temporary dike is still very effective. Adjustments are made to reflect new weather forecasts. We therefore remain very vigilant and the teams present on the ground ensure relentlessly the sealing of the dyke.

By the end of the day, the level should eventually reach 24.51 meters. The forecast for Friday is  24.59 meters and 24.67 meters for Saturday.  Sunday, we could see another rise.  We will continue to keep you informed.
