Deux-Montagnes, March 3, 2020 – Drilling along Highway 640 West, northwest of the City of Deux-Montagnes, will take place from March 9 to conduct a geotechnical study prior to the construction of the future noise barrier. This work, authorized by the ministère des Transports du Québec, will take place over a period of 3 weeks.

Deux-Montagnes, February 3, 2020 – NouvLR, the consortium in charge of building the Réseau express métropolitain (REM), will begin trees cutting work, from February 3 to 7, in the Boulevard du Lac surrounding area in Deux-Montagnes, in preparation for excavation and public utilities relocation previous to the REM’s construction work.

On December 12 and 13, excavation work in front of the fire station will close part of 8th Avenue North up to the chemin d’Oka. Detours will be proposed during the work taking place as part of the upgrading and expansion of the fire station. In advance, we thank you for your understanding.

Deux-Montagnes, December 5, 2019 – The water pipe in the Grand-Moulin sector has now been repaired. For THESE ADDRESSES ONLY, a boil water advisory is in effect until further notice: 13th AVENUE, DOORS NUMBER 25 TO 48-A. Those residents received a boil water advisory document with safety instructions.
Deux-Montagnes, December 5, 2019 – An aqueduct break occurred this morning in the Grand-Moulin sector and boulevard du Lac as part of the construction of the permanent dike. Every effort is currently being made to repair this conduct quickly, ie during the day. We will keep you informed of the evolution of the situation.
