Progresses of the dike project in Deux-Montagnes

The petition launched by the mayor of Deux-Montagnes, Mr. Denis Martin, following the major flood that occurred last spring, has obtained over 2200 signatures, representing 25% on the residents living in Deux-Montagnes. Municipal election – revision of the municipal list of electors

To consult the list of electors and to make an application
for entry, striking or correction, you must go before the board of revisors at the following address (803 chemin d’Oka) on the days and at the times indicated here:

2017-10-17 from 14:30 to 17:30 and from 19:00 to 22:00

2017-10-18 from 14:30 to 17:30

2017-10-19 from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 17:30

For an application for entry (domiciled person only),the applicant must indicate the previous address of the domicile of the person whose entry is requested and present two documents, one of which indicates the name and date of birth and the other, the name and the address of the domicile of the person whose entry is requested.

The 30th Annual Edition of the Fleurir Deux-Montagnes contest

Tuesday, September 26th 2017, took place the awards ceremony of the 2017 Fleurir Deux-Montagnes competition at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall. For this 30th edition, this event is a joint initiative of the city’s Horticultural Department and the Mayor’s office and it’s still the favourite popular annual competition. Reminder of temporary closure of Boul. Deux-Montagnes

The Réseau de Transport Métropolitain (RTM) wishes to advise the citizens of Deux-Montagnes that theDeux-Montagnes Boulevard between 20th Avenue and Antonin-Campeau Street will be closed to traffic during the Thanksgiving weekend. The RTM will carry out work on the railway crossing from October 7 to 9, 2017 inclusively.

Also the temporary Closure of Oka Road: The Réseau de Transport Métropolitain (RTM) will simultaneously carry out maintenance work on the railway line perpendicular to Oka Road.The Oka Road will be closed to traffic beween the 11th and 12th Avenues from Saturday, October 7th to Sunday, October 8th.

Circulation signs will be provided to effectively redirect traffic detours.
