Deux-Montagnes, August 9, 2022 – The City’s Communications Department is looking for the best pictures of Deux-Montagnes and is launching a contest under the theme “Seize the right moment”. From August 9th to September 30th, citizens of Deux-Montagnes are invited to share a photo of the time they had a perfect moment to capture what is worthy of admiration in many forms.

Deux-Montagnes, August 3, 2022 – Deux-Montagnes en fête is back for a 6th edition this summer, after two years of cancellation due to the pandemic. The population is invited to take part in the festivities on August 20, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Like previous editions, the event will be held on chemin d’Oka, between 12th and 16th Avenue.

Deux-Montagnes, July 27, 2022 – The City of Deux-Montagnes announces the reconstruction of the chemin d’Oka, between 20th Avenue and the limit of Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, as well as the reconstruction of 26th Avenue, between chemin d’Oka and the shore of Lac des Deux Montagnes. Work will begin on Monday, August 8, and will run until mid-November (approximately).

Deux-Montagnes, July 4, 2022 – Due to the Family Run on Sunday, July 10, the streets between 20th Avenue, Boulevard du Lac, 10th Avenue and Chemin d’Oka will be closed to traffic between 7 a.m. and noon.

Deux-Montagnes, June 21, 2022 – In order to promote childhood reading and the acquisition of literacy skills, the City of Deux-Montagnes is permanently eliminating overdue fines on materials borrowed with a child suscriber card, as well as the abolition of penalties on unclaimed reservations.
