As part of the province’s drinking water conservation strategy (Stratégie québécoise d’économie d’eau potable) , the City of Deux-Montagnes will install 60 water meters in local homes to obtain samples in a survey of residential drinking water consumption.
Mayor Denis Martin is pleased to announce for the fourth consecutive year, the celebration of the Neighbour’s Day, which will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the various parks of the city. Neighbour’s Day is an initiative of the Quebec Network of Healthy Cities and Villages. This festival’s main objective is to bring together citizens living in the same City.

The Relay for Life in the MRC Deux-Montagnes will take place on Friday, June 1st , from 7 pm to 7 am at the School Lake of Two-Mountains, 2105 Guy Street. Mayor Denis Martin and municipal councillors invite citizens to register and join them at this fundraising walk. These funds support Canada’s most promising cancer research as well as essential support services for people living with cancer and their families.

Due to the water supply for sewer rehabilitation works, disturbances may occur in the network creating particles and brown or reddish water.
Despite its appearance, the water is perfectly consummable.
Just pour the water through the faucets of your sinks and tubs until it becomes clear again. The situation should return to normal soon.
