A public information session on the dike project at Deux-Montagnes was held on October 4th at the Legion Hall. This briefing, organized by city council members and municipal employees, allowed engineering firm Axio to present the results of its pre-feasibility study.
The ”Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification” informs you that unprecedented closures will be put in place in the ”Échangeur Turcot” interchange from 9 to 13 November 2018. Very difficult traffic conditions are expected on the road network during this period. The collaboration of all, both road users and employers is required. Road users must review how they move during these periode of work, chose alternative ways such as public transit and avoid non-neccesary travel on the road.

Deux-Montagnes, October 9, 2018 –On September 25th 2018, took place the awards ceremony of the Fleurir Deux-Montagnes contest at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall. For this 31ft edition, this event is a joint initiative of the city’s Horticultural Department and the Mayor’s office and it’s still the favourite popular annual contest. During the ceremony, city councillors were on hand, proud to present awards to the winners in each district.

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS: The MetropolitanEXO Transit Agency announces that construction will be taking place on the structure of the bridge over the Rivière des Milles-Iles. The work will be carried out day and night during the weekends between October 15 and November 30, 2018. The schedule of work during the weekends only is from Friday 23:59 to Sunday 23:59. The EXO agency will distribute Notices to residents in the work area as well as residents in next to the railway structure.
Due to the ongoing work on the railway, Henri-Dunant Street will be closed on October 13th between 8 am and 8 pm A traffic detour will be suggested to road users
