Volunteers needed for a collective effort to fill sandbags

Our teams are working hard at the installation of the temporary dyke along the Lac des Deux Montagnes. Citizens wishing to help fill sandbags are welcome at 2:00 pm at the municipal garage, located at 625, 20th Avenue.

Water flood monitoring: the City of Deux-Montagnes takes precautions

Considering the current level of  Lac des Deux Montagnes, which is near the minor flood threshold (according to the measures of the “Vigilance site: flood monitoring” of the Ministry of Public Security), and given the abundant rains announced for the next few days, the city will proceed tomorrow morning with the installation of a temporary dyke.

Please note that the bulky waste collection scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, April 18th, is postponed until the following day. The level is considered to be in “surveillance” according to the data of this website.

Boisé de Deux-Montagnes: 2019 Wooden park cleaning

Deux-Montagnes, April 15, 2019 – On Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, the annual cleaning of the Deux-Montagnes wooden park will take place. Meet in large numbers others volunteer in front of the train station on Boulevard Deux-Montagnes. The activity will take place rain or shine.
