Deux-Montagnes, April 28, 2019 – We wish to inform the population of Deux-Montagnes that there is NO Boil Water Advisory on our territory. Our water treatment system is completely independent from Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac.

Deux-Montagnes hosts the military who came to support Pointe-Calumet

Deux-Montagnes, April 27, 2019 – Deux-Montagnes will host at the Olympia Arena the soldiers who have come to support the municipality of Pointe-Calumet. As for us, our teams of blue-collar workers, firefighters and subcontractors, still manage to secure the temporary dike. So, do not be alarmed if you cross the armed forces on our territory!

SPRING FLOOD UPDATE IN DEUX-MONTAGNES

Deux-Montagnes, April 27, 2019 – This morning, the level of Lake of Deux Montagnes is to 24.65 m, according to the web site  Vigilance : surveillance de la crue des eaux   of the Public Security. Our teams are not releasing their hard work on the ground to protect the city from the rising waters. With the increase announced at 24.99 m for tomorrow, we are going through a critical period. Citizens residing in a risk zone are called to be vigilant. We will continue to keep you informed.

UPDATE: FLOOD WATERS LEVEL AT DEUX-MONTAGNES

Deux-Montagnes, April 26, 2019 – The level of Lake of Deux Montagnes is, at 1 pm, to 24.53 m. It should reach the level of 24.56 m by the end of the day, according to the Public Security. Our teams are still working to consolidate the temporary dike, and even enhance and reinforce it at strategic locations. Currently, water does not enter the streets of Deux-Montagnes.

We want to reassure the citizens of Deux-Montagnes; according to public Safety, the risk warning of dike failure in Greenville-sur-la-Rouge broadcast this afternoon should not have an impact in Deux-Montagnes.
