Deux-Montagnes, December 2, 2022 – Once again this year, the Intermunicipal Fire Department of Deux-Montagnes / Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac is organizing a Christmas roadblock to collect donations for the preparation of the Christmas baskets. This roadblock will be held on Saturday, December 10, between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Boulevard des Promenades at the corner of 28th Avenue in Deux-Montagnes.

Deux-Montagnes, November 18, 2022– The annual ceremony to present financial assistance cheques to the City’s accredited organizations was held on November 14 at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall. A total of $61,770 was distributed in financial support to 31 community organizations and sports and cultural associations in the territory.

November 17, 2022 – The City of Deux-Montagnes is pleased to announce that the Santa Claus parade will take place in its streets on Sunday, December 4. The procession will set off at 1 p.m. on 20th Avenue towards chemin d’Oka.

Deux-Montagnes, October 25, 2022 – On the occasion of the Mérite québécois de la sécurité civile ceremony last October 18, the Quebec Ministry of Public Safety presented a “mention of honour” award to the Deux-Montagnes/Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac Intermunicipal Fire Safety Service for its stellar operational efficiency during the rupture of the Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac dyke in 2019.
