5.1% Increase in City of Deux-Montagnes Canopy Index Highest in MRC
Deux-Montagnes, October 25, 2019 – The canopy index for the City of Deux-Montagnes increased from 23.9% in 2011 to 29% in 2017. The results were published in the latest issue of the Perspective Grand Montréal, newsletter produced by the Observatoire Grand Montréal. It’s the largest increase in the MRC of Deux-Montagnes (Municipalité Régionale de Conté de Deux-Montagnes) and the fifth largest increase among all 82 municipalities in the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.

Deux-Montagnes, September 27, 2019 –On September 24, a total of 23 prizes were awarded at the 32nd edition of the Fleurir Deux-Montagnes contest. This event is a joint initiative of the city’s Horticultural Department and the Mayor’s office and aims to encourage citizen participation in efforts to beautify their property. The city councillors were on hand, proud to present awards to the winners in each district.
