Mrs. Annette Savoie, pioneer for the City of Deux-Montagnes, passed away at the age of 110
Deux-Montagnes, July 15, 2020 – It is with great sadness that the City of Deux-Montagnes has learned the death of a great lady, Mrs. Annette Savoie, which occurred on July 10 in Deux-Montagnes. The City wishes to offer its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Mrs. Savoie, who had just celebrated her 110th birthday.

Citizens who have in their possession beautiful pictures relating the history of our community, or vintage photos to discover Deux-Montagnes from a different perspective, are invited to share them with the administration of the City.
Municipal swimming pool: paddling pool closed today, july 14th
Deux-Montagnes, July 14, 2020 – Work is being carried out today, July 14, 2020, on the roof of the Central Park chalet, located on 13th Avenue south of chemin d’Oka. The proximity of the work to the paddling pool means that the pool is closed for the day. Access to the chalet will also be prohibited during the work, which will be completed by the end of the day. Swimmers are invited to be dressed in their swimming suit upon arrival.

2019 Financial Statements: Deux-Montagnes Cuts Debt Load by 60% in Just Five Years
Deux-Montagnes, July 13, 2020 – The City of Deux-Montagnes filed its consolidated financial statements as at December 31, 2019 during a regular meeting last Thursday. While the city’s sound financial health was evident, the highlight was the 60% reduction in its net debt in just five years. Consolidated net debt decreased from $ 44.5 million in 2014 to $ 18.3 million in 2019.
