Deux-Montagnes, September 29, 2021 – The winners of the 33rd edition of the Fleurir Deux-Montagnes contest are now known! Over the past few days, the Mayor and the municipal councillors had the great pleasure of handing out gift certificates from local garden centers to the 17 winners. It allowed them to see the horticultural arrangements that earned a place on the list of winners.

2021 National Tree Day: one hundred trees planted by the City of Deux-Montagnes for its 100th anniversary

Leisure activities and vaccination passport

Deux-Montagnes, August 31, 2021 – In order to be aligned with Public Health instructions, the City of Deux-Montagnes must require the vaccination passport (and a form of ID with photo) from citizens aged 13 and over wishing to participate in the leisure activities offered by the City. This measure, which will come into effect on September 1st, is in addition to other health measures already in place (wearing a mask, social distancing, etc.). […]

Deux-Montagnes’ 100th anniversary – Time capsules: Travelling through time at town hall and a legacy for future generations

Deux-Montagnes, August 27 2021 –  The mayor of Deux-Montagnes, Denis Martin, surrounded by members of the municipal council, former elected officials of the City and dignitaries, opened, on August 18th, two time capsules buried behind a stone in the town hall’s fireplace in December 1981 and in August 1996. This journey through time was done during a press conference on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the City of Deux-Montagnes, during which Mayor Martin also closed the time capsule specially designed for the 100th.
