Deux-Montagnes, June 3, 2020 – Surveying work along Highway 640 West, northwest of the City of Deux-Montagnes, will start from June 3 in connection with the construction of the future noise barrier.

To carry out this work, the technical teams of Audet Arpenteurs-géomètres inc.  will have to access the land of the juxtaposed properties, where certain equipment will be installed until the end of the work (carried out between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Monday to Saturday), for an eight-week period.

This preparatory work for the construction of the noise barrier, authorized by the ministère des Transports du Québec, is an essential step to be taken before proceeding with the estimate and the call for tenders.

The City of Deux-Montagnes thanks in advance the residents along Highway 640 for their understanding and cooperation. These works represent another step towards the realization of a project which will undoubtedly increase their quality of life.
