Deux-Montagnes, April 24, 2020 – As of Monday, April 27, the site deposit of dry materials and demolition rubbish, located at 625, 20e Avenue in Deux-Montagnes, will reopen to the public according to the regular business hours : Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 11:30 am and 1 to 4:30 pm, as well as Friday from 8 am to 11:30 am.
Some fees are applicable depending on the quantity of material you carry off. It should be noted that in order to participate in the collective effort to limit the spread of the Covid-19, no cash payment is now accepted at the City of Deux-Montagnes.
Only one person at a time will be able to access the site deposit and citizens will have to respect the physical distance of 2 meters between each other.
The free deposit of materials applies for :
- Tree and shrub branches
- tires (without metal rims)
- Folded large-format cardboard boxes that do not fit in the recycling bin
The accepted materials with fees charge are:
- Construction or demolition rubbish (example: wood and shingles)
- Built-in furniture made of wood or metal
The rejected materials are:
- Earth (soil excavation)
- Stone, brick, cement, concrete and asphalt siding
