Deux-Montagnes, April 5, 2023 – Work on the construction of the noise barrier along Highway 640, between Ronsard and Paul-Émile Barbe streets, will resume this Tuesday, April 11.

These interventions will take place  from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and should be completed by the end of summer.

The work consists of the placement of the steel columns, the installation of the panels and the greening’s work around the wall. Trees will also be planted along the highway.

This new noise barrier, is a project in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, to reduce the noise level caused by road traffic and to improve the quality of living for residents in the sector.
