The construction of the noise barrier along Highway 640, between Ronsard and Paul-Émile Barbe streets, will resume on Monday, September 19. This work includes the removal of the remaining fences along the noise barrier, the installation of temporary rigid fences, the trimming of trees or the removal of identified dead trees, as well as excavation.
These interventions will take place from Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The new noise barrier, a project in collaboration with the Ministère des Transports , will eventually reduce the noise level caused by road traffic and improve the quality of life of residents.
The City of Deux-Montagnes thanks in advance the residents along Highway 640 for their understanding and cooperation.
