Deux-Montagnes, March 16, 2020 – As announced last Friday, March 13, the City of Deux-Montagnes is keeping its administrative offices (including City Hall) open on the usual schedule. However, in order to reduce the risk of spreading the virus and to ensure the safety of citizens and employees, maintenance measures have been reinforced so as to intensify disinfection of surfaces conducive to contagion throughout the buildings. A distribution of awareness posters in City buildings was also carried out last week.
Payment of the 1st instalment of taxes
With the first tax payment coming due this Thursday, March 19, the City of Deux-Montagnes reminds citizens that payments can be made by mail and online via the websites of financial institutions in order to reduce their external contacts. Also, envelopes containing post-dated cheques can be deposited at any time in the secure mailbox outside City Hall (facing chemin d’Oka). For more information, citizens are invited to contact the Finance Department at 450 473-2796, option 6, or to consult the page dedicated to municipal taxes.
The Olympia arena and the library are closed until further notice and all cultural and leisure activities are suspended.
