Congratulations to André Ouellet!

City Council members and City employees would like to congratulate M. André Ouellet, winner of the “Prix Hommage bénévolat-Québec 2014” in the volunteer category.

A_OuelletOn April 8, this dedicated citizen received a Tara statuette and a handwritten certificate of honor signed by the Premier and the Minister in charge.

André Ouellet, a true charity work enthusiast, generously gives of his time to various organizations including the Saint-Agapit food bank. In addition to his commitment to the “Maison des citoyens,” he has organized the famous Christmas basket campaign for more than two decades for the community in order to assist citizens experiencing difficulties.

We would like to point out that the “Prix Hommage bénévolat-Québec’s “ volunteer category pays tribute to people who are 36 years of age and older, who have greatly contributed to the quality of life of their fellow citizens through their social commitments in their community.

Congratulations to M.Ouellet on behalf of all Deux-Montagnes citizens. Your generosity is matched only by the immense kindness of your heart.
