The Incroyables Comestibles Deux-Montagnes is a citizen group founded in 2017, which aims to make agriculture accessible to everyone, especially children.
For the 2018 season, there will be 12 vegetable gardens among 6 parks.
The current locations, which had one bed each last year, will have two this year:
Central Park (access through the kids’ park),
Armitage Park (behind the lawn bowling plot),
Gérard-Brault Park (corner Lucerne and 11th Avenue),
The new locations will be at these parks:
Mastromattéo Park (3rd Avenue),
Olympia Park (near the kids’ park),
Mikaël Kingsbury Park (Croissant-Mathys Street).
On May 26th, at the City’s Horticultural Day, the Incredible Edible organizing committee is inviting you to drop by their table for a visit.
Bring along any spare seedlings you might have, and if you’d like to volunteer for the summer (or part thereof), the Incroyables comestibles will gladly have you!
