Deux-Montagnes, May 18, 2022 – Calling all runners! The City of Deux-Montagnes is pleased to announce the return of the Family Run, which will be held at Parc Central on Sunday, July 10!
True to the previous editions, this family run offers a free 300-metre “Bout’chou” run, as well as timed 1 km, 5 km, and 10 km races. A participation medal will be given to all runners, along with a post-run snack!
Registration
To launch registrations, an early bird rate is available to all runners who register by June 1 at https://www.ms1inscription.com/coursedelafamille2022.
⇒ Registration for the 1 km race is free to all children aged 12 and under accompanied by a registered adult (when registered together).
Start times and schedule
Races start at Parc Central: 108 13th Avenue, Deux-Montagnes.
- 8:30 a.m.: 10 km race
- 10 a.m.: 5 km race
- 11 a.m.: 1 km race
- 11:30 a.m.: 300 m Bout’chou (non-timed run)
For the event, the municipal swimming pool will be open from 8:30 a.m. and access will be free for everyone.
Whether you are a seasoned vet or a first-time runner, the Family Run is a not-to-be-missed sporting event to experience the rush of timed group races while enjoying a festive and friendly atmosphere!
