Deux-Montagnes, June 7, 2020 – The City wishes to inform the citizens of Deux-Montagnes who live along Highway 640 that work to list permanent installations (e.g.: sheds) between the existing fence and the juxtaposed properties will take place on June 10 and 11.

This inventory of permanent installations will be carried out by the firm Cima +, which will access the properties along the route of the future noise barrier between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., on June 10 and 11, 2021.

Note that the Cima + firm is mandated by the City of Deux-Montagnes to draft plans and specifications to be presented to the Quebec Ministry of Transport (MTQ) in order to obtain their final approval of the project. The City already has the preliminary authorization to go ahead with this project, much awaited by residents of the area. This is therefore an important step that brings us closer to its realization!
