Deux-Montagnes, April 6, 2021 – A new Pumper Fire Truck was added today to the Deux-Montagnes / Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac Intermunicipal Fire Safety Service fleet of vehicles.
This Fire engine, equipped with a cabin that can carry a team of five responders, has a centrifugal pump with a capacity of 1,250 gallons per minute (GPM), a tank of 600 gallons of water, a closed control panel, a FoamPro system with foam level, a thermal camera, as well as compartments for transporting intervention equipment.
The acquisition of this pumper truck take place as part of continuing efforts to renew the fire safety fleet of vehicles. The previous pumper truck was over 20 years old.
