The bulky waste collection postponed to Wednesday April 22

Deux-Montagnes, April 15, 2020 – The bulky waste collection which was scheduled for Thursday, April 16, has been postponed to Wednesday, April 22, starting at 7 a.m. Citizens who have already placed their bulky waste on the side of the street can leave it in place until next Wednesday. Otherwise, waste materials must be place on the side of the street only from 7 p.m. the day before or no later than 7 a.m. on the morning of collection.

All other mechanical collections (garbage, recycling and organic) are maintained according to the usual schedule indicated on the municipal calendar.

Note that renovation waste, as well as demolition rubbish, are not considered as bulky waste, but as dry materials.

The  materials ACCEPTED in the collection of bulky waste:

  • Appliances
  • Furniture
  • Swimming pool (rolled up canvas and parts attached)
  • Pool filter (emptied of its contents)
  • Patio furniture
  • B.B.Q.
  • Dishes and household articles (contained in boxes)

The  materials REJECTED  in the collection of bulky waste:

  • Renovation materials or demolition rubbish (Dry Materials)
  • Treated wood and garden trellis (stained or natural)
  • Tires (with or without rims)
