Deux-Montagnes, September 21, 2023 – Every year, the City of Deux-Montagnes flushes nearly 75 km of drinking water pipes throughout its territory. The flushing works on the water supply network will start on Sunday, September 24 and end on Sunday, October 29. We invite the public to consult the flushing work map to find out the dates scheduled in each sector.

Deux-Montagnes, June 1st 2023 – The City of Deux-Montagnes, like all municipalities in Quebec, is under obligation to comply with the legal requirements of the Act respecting French, the official and common language of Québec (Bill 96), which come into force June 1st. Among other things, the amendments to this Act require municipalities to exclusively use French in their communications, with exceptions, in particular in emergency situations where the health or safety of citizens is compromised.

The purpose of this competition is to highlight the most beautiful plant and flower arrangements on the fronts of homes and businesses in the Deux-Montagnes area. How to participate? Nothing could be simpler since all homes and businesses are automatically registered!
Deux-Montagnes, May 29, 2023 – A ban on Open fires in or near forests came into effect yesterday in Deux-Montagnes. Under our municipal by-law 1668, this decision by the Quebec Government, taken in collaboration with the Société de protection des forêts contre le feu (SOPFEU), prohibits the use of outdoor fireplaces in Deux-Montagnes, even if they are equipped with a spark arrester.

Deux-Montagnes, May 10, 2023 – A meeting between the Table des préfets et des élus de la couronne Nord (TPÉCN) and the Deputy Premier and Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Ms. Geneviève Guilbault, was held at the Deux-Montagnes City Hall on Monday, May 8.
