MANDATE :

Generally speaking, the Leisure and Community Services Department has the mission to implement various measures aimed at continually enhancing the quality of life for families living in Deux-Montagnes.

In this respect, it attempts to improve citizens’ well being by giving them access to a wide variety of free-style or structured sports, cultural and community leisure activities, in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It supports, through various assistance programs, and sports, cultural or community organizations, the pursuit of its mission and development.

This department encourages local initiatives and supports citizens groups wishing to present new projects for the general benefit of the community. It ensures the safe and fair management of activities, equipment and material for which it is responsible, in an effort to maximize use.
