Deux-Montagnes, March 3, 2020 – Drilling along Highway 640 West, northwest of the City of Deux-Montagnes, will take place from March 9 to conduct a geotechnical study prior to the construction of the future noise barrier. This work, authorized by the ministère des Transports du Québec, will take place over a period of 3 weeks.
This is excellent news for many Deux-Montagnais living along Highway 640. This work represents a first step towards the construction of the noise barrier aimed at improving the quality of life for residents of the area.
The geotechnical soil study is an essential step to be taken before proceeding with the estimate and the call for tenders. More information on the construction schedule for the noise barrier will be communicated when transmitted by theministère des Transports du Québec.
