Flood monitoring : the temporary dike holds up

Deux-Montagnes, April 22, 2019 – Today, at 2 pm, the Lake of Deux-Montagnes level is currently 24.33 meters (according to the web site  Vigilance : surveillance de la crue des eaux  of the Ministry of Public Safety). At this level in 2017, many streets were already completely flooded. Currently in Deux-Montagnes, no citizen had to be evacuated.

The huge temporary dike, made of 3000 concrete blocks, holds up. This dike, erected by employees of the City of Deux-Montagnes with the help of subcontractors, must punctually benefit from blockages to ensure a constant seal.
